6 Days and 5 Nights

1st day

06:00 AM – Check-in luggage and departure to Pindorama do Tocantins.

Stop for breakfast in the city of Ponte Alta do Tocantins (Not included).

Attractions to be visited:

Morro da Cruz (Panoramic view) and Pedra Furada in the city of Ponte Alta do Tocantins.

Lunch included in the package at Dona Minervina Restaurant – A native family from the region that cooks on a wood stove where the main dish is the traditional country chicken.

Lagoa do Japonês.

Check-in at a local inn in the city of Ponte Alta do Tocantins/Pindorama do Tocantins.

Dinner at a local restaurant included in the package.

2nd day

06:00 AM – Breakfast at the inn and departure to the attractions.

Visit to the attractions:

Trail inside the canyon, to “Prainha do Elias” where there is a shallow pool to refresh. On the way back, stop at the Canyon Viewpoint for contemplation. The tour has a total of 5.2 km (round trip) of flat terrain hiking, with a steep 500m descent/ascent to access the Canyon.

Lunch at a local restaurant (included in the package).

Cidade de Pedra and Cachoeira dos Pelados at the Canyon Tourist Complex. (Visit on foot, through a flat trail with a total of 4.5 km (round trip), going to Cidade De Pedra, magnificent rock formations sculpted over thousands of years by the action of wind and rain.

Return to a local inn in the city of Ponte Alta do Tocantins/Pindorama do Tocantins.

Dinner (included in the package) at a local restaurant and free evening.

3rd day

Breakfast at the inn.

07:00 AM – Check-out and departure to Mateiros – TO.

Attractions to be visited:

Prainha Coração do Jalapão on Rio Novo;

Lunch included in the package at the Quilombola Community of Rio Novo.

Serra do Espírito Santo (Panoramic view); Lagoa do Jacaré (Panoramic); Dunes.

Check-in at a local inn in the city of Mateiros.

Dinner at a local restaurant included in the package.

4th day

Optional Sunrise → Morro do Sereno Trail (R$ 200.00 per person).

Breakfast at the inn.

Departure to the attractions to be visited:

Visit to the Capim Dourado craft store. Fervedouro dos Buritis; Fervedouro Rio Sono.

Lunch at a local restaurant (included in the package).

Fervedouro Buritizinho; Cachoeira do Formiga.

Return to Mateiros.

Dinner (included in the package) and free evening.

5th day

Breakfast at the inn.

08:00 AM – Check-out and departure to São Félix do Tocantins.

Attractions to be visited:

Fervedouro Macaúbas or Beija-Flor; Fervedouro Por Enquanto.

Lunch at a local restaurant (included in the package).

Fervedouro Bela Vista.

Dinner at a local restaurant in São Félix do Tocantins (included in the package).

Check-in at a local inn in São Félix do Tocantins.

6th day

Optional Rafting on the Soninho River → Level II (R$ 200.00 per person).

Breakfast.

07:00 AM – Check-out and departure from the inn.

Departure from the inn with return to Palmas.

Attractions to be visited:

Fervedouro do Alecrim; Serra da Catedral (Panoramic view); Enchanted Park;

Lunch at a local restaurant (included in the package).

05:00 PM – Expected arrival in Palmas and check-in at a hotel in Palmas.

The package includes:

Transportation in 4×4 vehicles (UP TO SIX PEOPLE IN THE VEHICLE + ONE GUIDE); Accommodation in local inns with breakfast, as per itinerary – Double/triple rooms; Meals with breakfast, lunch, and dinner as mentioned in the itinerary; Entrance fees to the attractions mentioned in the itinerary; Mineral water throughout the expedition; Travel insurance Assist Card; 01 Regional tour guide registered with the Ministry of Tourism or local environmental guide throughout the expedition in Jalapão.

The package does not include:

Airfare, accommodation in Palmas, personal expenses, optional activities, drinks, and extras at the inns.

NOTES: Luggage limited to a maximum of 40 liters; Microfiber towels; Swimwear (Considering that we will have a bath every day – easy-to-dry clothes); Comfortable footwear (Sandals, water shoes, sneakers if you choose to do an optional trail); Sunscreen, repellent, hat, and sunglasses; Personal hygiene items (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.) and personal medications; Camera, GoPro, or waterproof cover for cell phone; Cash for optional activities and handicrafts.
